"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."

Who the...?

So who exactly is the crazy bastard that is responsible for all this? And where does Pedachenko fit in?

The guilty party would be myself, Brandon McGregor. Born and raised in and about the southern Muskoka region in Ontario, Canada. I spent my days at Gravenhurst High School trying to get away, only to go off to Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University in Ottawa, come to my senses and walk quickly away from that after my first year and right back into GHS for another semester to take some art classes I had missed the first time through. From that point I was whisked away to a fabulous three year stay at Canadore College in North Bay to study Graphic Design. That's where I sit right now, just finishing up my final year here before being released into the wild. The jury is still out on whether this is what I want to do when I get old - I don't dare say grow up - but the fact that I've made it to year three sounds promissing. And as you can probably tell, I have an unhealthy interest in web work.

So what about when I'm not working at becoming a learned one? I'm an avid cyclist, both on and off road. I spend fair portions of my summer racing both local XC and 24 hour races with the Team Campus mountain bike squad. I also use my bike quite often to venture off the beaten path in pursuit of my other hobby, photography. You can see some of my work in the galleries right here on this very site thanks to this new-fangled internet thingy-ma-bob. I also pretend like I know how to write on occasion, again you can see my work both here and at AllPoetry, and on even rarer occasions I've been known to pick up a brush - or more likely an airbrush to be specific - and act like I know what I'm doing with either. Luckily for you, time spent volunteering as a member of the local Lions Club keeps me away from spending too much time in delusions of mediocrity.

So what about Pedachenko? Biff Pedachenko is my alter-ego/online-identity/mental fabrication. The name jumped into my mind one day out of nowhere while riding down a cottage road and has been in use ever since. In fact there may very well be more people out there who know me as Biff then by my given name. Biff is a lazy, no-good loafer who enjoys long walks on the beach and has aspirations of taking over the world using a band of Latin-speaking minions. But now I've said too much.
